Description

Some topics of discussion might include:

– Streamlining your routine and practice
You will receive personalised mentoring over a virtual, one-to-one call to assist you in planning the best approach for you when it comes to gaining control of your academic experience, implement beneficial practices, and take full advantage of the resources made available to you.

– Clear, strong publishing guidance
The Smiling Scholar will take you through the publishing process (i.e. how to find an appropriate journal, how to find and implement the criteria, how to submit and revise).

– Life-changing resource education
There are countless tools and resources which are made available to us (both free and paid) which the majority of students and even professors still do not take advantage of. Universities are known for not being on the cutting edge when it comes to technology (and offering networking for their students, at times), but do not let that stop you. There are resources out there that can have an almost unimaginably positive impact on the quality of your work and well-being.

– Navigating a degree
This is not in reference to the research itself, but rather your ability to approach your degree in a manner where you are no longer “juggling” everything. You will have a plan and can then focus on your work with limited stress and optimal enjoyment. If this is your main focus, the six-month-long mentorship will be ideal for the best results.

– Learn to run an effective literature search
You will be coached in how to best optimise your literature search results, as well as shown tricks to find the most recent and relevant prose that relate to your writing. Together, we can run a literature search.

… And more – simply write a note along with your order explaining what you wish to gain from this mentorship.
